Arrive into Lima and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Lima.

Day 2: Lima to Chiclayo
This morning, explore the modern districts of Lima and its historic centre. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport and fly to Chiclayo (extra charge). Overnight in Chiclayo. (B)

Days 3-4: Chiclayo to Trujillo
Today, visit Chiclayo’s market and the museum of the royal tombs of Sipan. After, travel by private vehicle to Trujillo. Visit the Sun and Moon Temples and Chan Chan. Stay the next two nights in Trujillo. (2B)

Days 5-6: Trujillo to Arequipa
Fly to Arequipa (extra charge). Stay the next two nights in Arequipa. Visit San Camilo Market, followed by a walking city tour of Arequipa visiting the extraordinary Santa Catalina. Afternoon at leisure. (2B)

Day 7: Arequipa to Colca
Leave Arequipa and head to Colca. Visit Chivay, Colca’s most important town. Enjoy a visit to the local market. Overnight in Colca. (B)

Day 8: Colca to Puno
Drive to the deepest part of the Colca Canyon and observe the Andean Condor from the Condor Cross Lookout. Stay the next two nights in Puno. (B)

Day 9: Puno
Venture out onto the waters of Lake Titicaca. Visit the island of Taquile, before reaching the remote community of Luquina on Chucuito Peninsula. On the return visit the floating reed islands of the Uros. (BL)

Day 10: Puno to Sacred Valley
Enjoy a short visit of the burial towers in Sillustani on route to the airport for your flight to Cusco (extra charge). Upon arrival transfer to your hotel in the Sacred Valley. Stay the next three nights in the Sacred Valley. (B)

Day 11: Sacred Valley
Today, visit the salt mines of Maras before enjoying an exhibition of Peruvian Paso horses. (BL)

Take the train to Machu Picchu for a guided tour of the ruins. Return to Sacred Valley by train. (BLD)
